For all of those who say "It was obvious that Tobi was Obito all along, of course it wasnt Madara", i would just like to say that i said this first. This Blog was created almost a year before it was revealed who Tobi really was.
His true identity was finally revealed after Naruto smashed Tobi's masked with his rasengan revealing that he was actually Obito all along. My research and theories i put forward beforehand have all come through for me. This is just a quick update i dont think i need to go into much detail since i have done with proving his true identity. so here is the page where his identity is revealed.

Lets Dive Right in
I have be speculating for months that Tobi/"Uchiha Madara" is not who he said he is, in this blog you will read about my theory that Tobi claims to be Madara but is instead Uchiha Obito, it will also include other theory on how Obito is connected to the storyline. Already you are wondering how this could possibly be; 'But he said he was Madara', 'But Obito is dead', all of these points will be explained and proved that Tobi is Uchiha Obito.
To start you off lets just look at the name Tobi, if you were to re-arrange the letters and add an extra o you get Obito, but this was just a warm up.
Lets start off with how this is all possible... how is Obito Tobi? People would stop reading this because the points seem invalid, but this is why its a theory; due to the fact that he gave his left eye to kakashi and his right side was crushed there is no way he can be tobi, yeah blah blah blah. Although he was crushed his injurys wern't serverally deadly because he would have died instantly, this is were gaps in this theory come into play, somehow he has got free from the boulder thanks to someones help; as he clearly couldnt get up and walk away, in this case i am thinking Orochimaru but it doesnt add up at this moment in time.
Why would Orochimaru Save Obito who was half dead; Literally. Maybe he saw Potential, or maybe someone he could control. Using Forbidden Ninjutsu's he might have been able to reconstruct his right side including his eye, although his body was crushed it was not destroyed, he then stayed within a base recooperating, healing, by the time Obito was last seen and Tobi entered the screen around 17 years had passed during that time his conscience could have been manipulated by Orochimaru. Again these are all just possibilities to how he could have survived, Orochimaru and Obito are Linked to another theory at the end of this Blog.
Lets Move onto Techniques, We have all seen Tobi preform various techniques that we nor the characters in the anime/manga can explain, but im going to break it down for you. Tobi is capable of using the space-time manipulation justu, in order to move his body through dimension to make it seem like an attack goes right through him. This Technique links with my theory or Tobi been Obito, Obito Gave his eye to Kakashi as a dying wish, Kakashi later developed the Mangekyou Sharingan which was able to create a hole between dimensions in a certain point. Looking back over the episodes, the way that the Dimension is formed in a Spiral shape Closely resemmbles Tobi's Space Time Migration Technique, The similarities between Tobi's Jutsu and Kakashi's Kamui are a stricking resemblence because they are using the Same Eyes.
The only differance between their Techniques is that Tobi has learned to completely control the Technique to use it on himself, where Kakashi is able to send things to another dimension, Tobi is able go Between these dimensions. This is plausable due to the fact that both techniques are Space-Time Ninjutsu further proving that its the same Technique, for furhter Evidence of this look on when Tobi and Kakashi's Squad first meet, "Uchiha Madara" who he told them to call him insists that Kakashi doesn't attempt to use Kamui on him as it wouldn't work, because he knows all the secrets of "his own" technique.
Staying on the basis of Techniques we'll move onto the Sharingan now. As you already know, Uchiha Madara was the first person to obtain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, this new Ocular Jutsu allowed him to preform unimaginable jutsu's aswell as giving he added strength and fighting intuitive. Uchiha Madara was one of the founding members of Konohagakure along side Senju Hashirama over 80 years before the Series was set. This moment in the Naruto series is a huge tipping point in finding out who is behind the mask. If it is the So called Madara this would mean that he is over 100 years old at this point, and he has not depicted any details to how he has survived let alone be able to fight in the upcoming Fourth Great Shinobi War.
But im straying of course, although he claims that he is Uchiha Madara, and is still recovering from his fight with the first Hokage over 90 Years ago, he still hasnt shown any glimpse of his eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. This might be because it puts too much strain on his current state or because he doesnt obtain it.

- He wears a mask covering his left side of his face and only showing the right side and his sharingan; he does this because he doesnt have a Sharingan in his left eye, and he doesn't want people to know, but then When he is fighting Konan she destroyed the Left side of his mask displaying that he had a sharingan in that eye too.
- The Mangekyou Sharingan is obtained when someone close to the user has died; either by their hands or not. If this is Obito we dont know if he has obtained the Mangekyou or not as we haven't seen the eye. But if my theory of the connection between Tobi and Kakashi is correct, he would have had to lose someone close to him, and i presume that this person is Rin. Rins whereabouts after the Kakashi Gainden are unknown, and she is presumed dead by Kakashi as he says "All those close to me have died". The most obvious thing to happen is that Obito heard the news or Rins Passing and that awakened his Mangekyou.
These two sub theories although conflict with each other are both important to how he might have obtained the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. The first part of this is from 'Sub Theory 2' were Obito awakens his Mangekyou Sharingan, learning that prolonged use of this new form of ocular Jutsu will leave the user blind he needed to obtain the Eternal form of the Sharingan. This is not possible due to the fact that he has no siblings, and without siblings he wont be able to preform the transfer and get his new eyes.
Around the time of the Uchiha Massacre, when Danzo went to see Orochimaru, he took with him the Sharingan of the incapacitated Uchiha clan with him; aswell as the ones he implanted in him self. With the clans sharingan Obito might have been given a new pair of eyes. This is how Tobi has two Sharingan when his mask is destroyed, and because can awaken the Mangekyou he was able to obtain the Enternal Mangekyou.
(Again this is my speculations and i dont know if that would be possible)
And if this isn't possible it would explain his two sharingan and why he hasn't shown and Mangekyou Jutsus, "Madara" says he has gained control of Izanagi, unlike Danzo; although he claims seen as we never see it.
